Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), he is able to provide diagnostic evaluations and outcome-based treatment for a broad range of problems, including: anxiety, depression, ADHD, parent child management guidance. Dr. Butkus specializes in the treatment of mild to moderate forms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Dr. Butkus has an appointment as an Assistant Professor through the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Additionally, at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan (CHM), Dr. Butkus conducts and supervises consultation/liaison activity with medically-ill children and adolescents as well as provides psychotherapy supervision for psychology interns, child psychiatry fellows, and other trainees. He is also a consultant for the General Pediatrics ADHD Clinic at CHM.
